So, this must be your list of "The Ten Best Films of 2002 Not Name 'Gangs of New York,'" correct? Because if you're honestly suggesting that Perdition, Chicago, Catch Me, Talk To Her, Far From Heaven, Confessions, Bowling, 25th Hour, About Schmidt, Spider-Man, and Lilo & Stitch were superior films... well, I might just have to take my casual film-blog reading elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteYea Sam, do explain. Why is it that Gangs of New York can't compete with the likes of a Disney CLASSIC, Lilo & Stitch? Did Daniel Day Lewis just mail in her performance of Bill the Butcher? Was Leo too focused on your #8 film, Catch Me if You Can? Did Scorsese - who many could argue is your favorite director - not really focus on telling an affective story that blends fictional characters with real people and actual events in the 19th Century; while at the same time providing present day commentary on immigration issues that permeate our society? We're dying to know!
ReplyDeleteLOL, this is gonna be awesome.
I didn't like the costumes!
ReplyDeleteok,
